Optimizing Customer Perceptions in Tesla's Chinese Market

This project delves into Tesla's evolving market position in China, uncovering the juxtaposition between the brand's innovative leadership in the EV sector and the emerging challenges it faces, including diminishing market share and escalating competition from local brands. Through a blend of A/B testing and focus group discussions, we aimed to dissect the impact of public perception influenced by media narratives on Tesla's brand image and product quality, particularly focusing on safety concerns versus expansion news. Our analysis illuminated the significant sway of product safety on consumer purchase intentions, highlighting a clear demand for enhanced communication around safety features to rebuild trust. We propose a strategic shift towards not only amplifying safety messaging but also leveraging customer testimonials and advancing safety technology to reinforce Tesla's commitment to quality and secure its position in the competitive Chinese market.​

Customer Loyalty and Engagement at Starbucks:
A Digital Transformation Analysis

In this case analysis, I critically examined Starbucks' strategic use of digital tools and its renowned loyalty program to enhance customer engagement and experience. Despite its successful integration of a mobile app and social media platforms to drive business growth, Starbucks faced challenges including overreliance on digital channels, which potentially alienated customers preferring in-person interactions, and a lack of personalized rewards within its loyalty program. To address these issues, I recommended a balanced approach between digital innovation and the traditional Starbucks experience, enhancing the personalization of the loyalty program, and investing in customer education on digital platforms. Implementing these strategies aims to sustain brand loyalty, attract a diverse customer base, and ensure a seamless, satisfying Starbucks experience across all touchpoints.

Integrated Strategic Marketing Plan for STARLUX Airlines

STARLUX Airlines, emerging as Taiwan's third-largest airline, stands out for its luxurious services. Despite 2022's financial hurdles from infrastructural investments, the airline expects significant growth with travel normalization and trends favoring personalized and Eastern travel experiences.

Aiming for a 120% revenue boost and a gross profit margin increase to 12.38% by 2024, I outlined a strategic growth plan:

  • Strategic Route Expansion: Leveraging Taipei's strategic position to expand into the North America-Southeast Asia transit market, enhancing global presence.

  • Alliance Integration: Seeking membership in the Oneworld Alliance by 2025, building on the Alaska Airlines partnership to widen its network and elevate customer loyalty.

  • Market Penetration Focus: Targeting affluent travelers over 40 with personalized services to strengthen its luxury brand and align ticket prices with its high-end positioning.
